Saigon and other localities in southern Vietnam have been suffering from a heat wave recently, with temperatures reaching 36-37 degrees Celsius daily. It has also been reported that ultraviolet levels (UVs) in Saigon are consistently at 10-12 levels, posing high risks of sunburn.
